Does Brava Jazz Publishing ship paper copies of charts?
We do not ship paper copies. To keep our music as accessible and convenient as possible, all charts are delivered as instant digital downloads upon purchase.
If you’re using a purchase order, digital files will be sent once the purchase order is received.
We occasionally sell high-quality printed charts in person at conferences where Brava Jazz exhibits, such as the Jazz Education Network Conference.
Does Brava Jazz accept purchase orders?
Yes! We’re happy to process purchase orders, which are often the easiest route for schools and directors. To get started, email Annie at annie@bravajazz.com with your purchase order request.
What types of ensembles does Brava Jazz publish for?
We publish music for jazz ensembles of all levels, including big bands and small groups of various instrumentations (flex charts). Each chart’s description specifies the instrumentation and difficulty level.
Are Brava Jazz charts suitable for student ensembles?
Yes! Many of our charts are written to be playable by middle school, high school, and collegiate ensembles while still sounding exciting and professional. Difficulty levels are clearly labeled, including brass ranges and whether there are any woodwind doubles.
I’m a jazz composer—can I submit my music to Brava Jazz Publishing?
Absolutely! Brava Jazz is dedicated to amplifying the voices of women composers and arrangers in jazz.
We are currently not accepting arrangements of copyrighted material, but we are always looking for fresh, original, and accessible jazz compositions. If this sounds like your music, reach out via our Contact Page.
